A Coruña, in the select club of Picasso cities

Picasso was born in Malaga, but it is in A Coruña where the painter was born. His subsequent visits to Barcelona and Madrid were a preliminary to his first visit to France, where he would spend most of his life.

Malaga, Barcelona, Paris and Antibes now have the four largest museums in the world dedicated to the painter, while Madrid's Reina Sofia Museum exhibits, among other works, the monumental "Guernica".

A Coruña, with its house-museum, has the privilege of being part of the group of great European cities that disseminate the work of what is considered to be the greatest artist of the 20th century.
